My montages are digital and it doesn't matter where the material for montages comes from. When the source materials are digitized they are, in a technical sense, all the same, just a bunch of 1:s and 0:s. Very democratic. Be it a photo or an old painting, be it Jusus or a terrorist. It doesn't matter. And you can change all these binary digits anyway you want. You can turn water into wine and a man to a donkey. And if it looks like painting; fine, and if ii looks like like a photo; fine.
